A loan of $500 helped to buy seed and herbicide, a food stall, and yuca.

Gloria Cristina's story

Gloria, 42, is the single mother of three children, a 21-year-old male and two females, ages 15 and 13. She works in the home and does agricultural work with her son.

The loan she's requesting from Fundación Campo is to buy seed and herbicide to farm the land. She's also going to buy a food stall because on Sundays she sells traditional snacks in the country. She'll also buy yuca for her business.

With the investment, she hopes to cultivate on time and apply the correct amount of inputs to have a good harvest. She's also going to set up the food stall to sell more comfortably and safely.

She wants to give her two younger children everything they need to flourish and finish their post-secondary education.
