A loan of $600 helped to buy seafood and shrimp.

Grethel Isabel's story

Grethel, 33, is married and has two children, ages 10 and 12, whom she sends to school so that they can prepare for a profession. Grethel and her husband want their small business, selling seafood by the kilo in one of Managua's markets, to prosper. The area does not provide the proper conditions, but this doesn't discourage them, as the business is their only income source. Grethel has applied for a loan to buy seafood and shrimp to sell to customers so that they can provide food for their children every day.
