A loan of $575 helped to purchase clothing at wholesale.

Rosa's story

Rosa is 42 years old and she lives with her husband and daughter in their own house. She is a street vendor who sells clothing, as she doesn't have a fixed location for her business which she has been doing for about 3 years. She began with her husband looking to obtain income for their family; the main problem is the lack of a stall or premises to sell the clothing. Aside from that she also works in agriculture. From very early she goes with her husband to their small fields, which is 2 hours from their place.

Rosa is saving, so that in the future, she can buy a place located within the market so that she is dedicated purely to the sale of clothing. This is her first Kiva loan and she is very grateful for the support and she promises to be punctual with her payments, so that in the future she can ask for other loans.

The money requested, 1500,00 Peruvian soles, she will invest in the purchase of clothing at wholesale and to supply her business and to boost her sales.
