Luis lives in Playas. Eight years ago he worked for a firm ripening plantain but used a family loan to start his own vegetable sales business. Gradually he grew and at present he has a large clientele.

He starts work at 6:30am; he opens his shop and brings out the products so his customers can choose. He’s had no difficulty in his business and with God’s help is making progress every day. He’s single and has two children. One is two-years-old and the other is six-years old; the older one attends public school.

He wants to use the loan to buy a display case and vegetables. His dream is to be able to buy a vehicle in order to sell his products in places that are farther away.
