A loan of $500 helped to buy seasonal seed, fertilizers, and pesticides, so he'll have sufficient supplies for a very fruitful harvest.

José Efraín's story

José is 31 and has a common-law wife and three children. For a number of years he has been earning his living in agriculture, which he learned from his father. He and his life-partner get up at 4AM to get ready to spend all morning in their crop fields. In the afternoon José works as a day-laborer and his kids go off to school.

The loan José is seeking from Fundación Campo is to buy seasonal seed, fertilizer, and pesticides. With the supplies he needs for a fruitful harvest he can earn income to support his family and continue helping his children get an education. His intention is to open up a shop as another source of income for the family.
