A loan of $1,100 helped to buy an electric grinder, baking tins, pots, a stove, and a tank of gas.

Dora Elena's story

Dora is thirty-nine years old and is an enterprising woman with a vision and many projects to carry out. For her entire life, she has dedicated herself to working in order to help her husband with the home expenses and to improve the quality of life of her family.

Today she finds herself requesting a loan in order to start her own business and to make herself into a successful micro-businesswoman. She will set up a factory within her home producing corn pancakes. For some time, she has made these using only her hands with very good results. She will invest the loan in the purchase of an electric grinder, baking tins, pots, a stove, and a tank of gas, goods that are necessary for the development of her activity.

Her greatest dream is to strengthen her business and to position it within the local market. This will allow her to generate better income and to guarantee that her two children will have access to a quality education.
