NIANANKORO, age 59, lives with his wife and their seven children in the sub-prefecture of OUELESSEBOUGOU, region of KOULIKORO.

NIANANKORO did not have the opportunity to go to school. He became involved in income-generating activities at a young age, namely the purchase, storage and sale of cereals. He learned this activity alongside a childhood friend.

To satisfy a growing customer base, he turned to the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso, and having correctly repaid three loans, he is now seeking a fourth individual loan to buy 2,5 tonnes of cereals (maize, millet, fonio) from local farmers in DONGORONA and the neighboring areas. He will store the grain for at least three months. He sells mainly wholesale to a clientele consisting of resellers from large cities such as Bamako and OUELESSEBOUGOU.

NIANANKORO hopes to earn an average monthly profit of 80,000 FCFA, which he will use to repay the loan. Any remainder will be reinvested in his business.

NIANANCORO n’a pas eu la chance d’aller à l’école. Très tôt il s’intéressa aux activités génératrices de revenus notamment à l’achat stockage vente de céréales. Il a appris cette activité auprès de son ami d’enfance.
Dans le souci de satisfaire sa clientèle en nette croissance, il décida de collaborer avec Soro Yiriwaso. Après avoir correctement remboursés les trois prêts précédents il est à son quatrième prêt individuel qui servira à acheter, 2,5 tonnes de céréales auprès des paysans producteurs de DONGORONA et environnants qu’il gardera pendant au moins 3 mois. Il vend essentiellement en gros à une clientèle constituée de revendeurs venant des grandes villes telles Bamako, OUELESSEBOUGOU.
NIANANCORO espère réaliser un bénéfice moyen mensuel de 80.000 FCFA qui sera utilisé pour rembourser le prêt et être réinvestir le reste dans les activités.
