A loan of $775 helped a member to fertilizer, insecticide, seed, and to pay for plowing fees.

Kimhun's Group's story

Kimhun, 24 and a mother of one little son, is a local citizen from the Bovel district of Battambang Province. For sustenance for the family, she grows corn on a five-hectare area with support from her husband. She has engaged in the current business for four years. This is the first microloan for Kimhun's group, consisting of two female members who are applying for 1,500,000 KHR each. As the leader, she will spend her loan portion to pay for fertilizer, insecticide, seed, and plowing fees. She hopes to earn a high corn yield and make more income to improve her living.
