A loan of $275 helped to buy more fruit for resale.

Aserbastian's story

Aserbastian lives in the Mombasa area of Coast province, Kenya. He is married and has three school-going children. He sells horticultural produce; e.g. mangoes, plums, passion fruits, oranges, etc. He has been operating this business for ten years. Apart from this business he also earns a salary from formal employment.

He learned about Milango through a friend with an aim of accessing credit to better his business operations. The main challenge he faces is the high cost of farm produce.

Aserbastian is applying for a loan of 21,050 Kenya shillings to buy more fruits for resale. His extra income from the loan will be added to his savings to expand the business, open other branches and pay school fees.
