Floresmina's story

Floresmina, 49 years old, has been a widow for several years. She has four children, two are now adults and independent while two still live with her. Floresmina’s work consists of the sale of food. Her work begins very early with the purchase of all the ingredients that she needs for the preparation of her meals. She starts her sales, strictly speaking, in the evenings on the sidewalk in front of her house where she puts up a grill, two tables and chairs that seat her customers. She has been doing this work for an average of a year and she does it with the help of her daughter. She is very proud of her work as she believes that she has possessed the culinary arts from a young age. What she likes about her work is that she can count daily on the money that she gets from her earnings. She claims that it is her good seasoning that has allowed her to sell everything that she prepares. It is going very well for her, she has many customers and she hopes that her business remains stable as it has until now.

On this occasion she requests $1,500 soles (PEN). She is very excited to know that there are people who offer her an economic backing to continue developing her work activities. Likewise she is committed to being punctual with the payment of her installments. With the amount requested she will buy some ingredients and supplies that she uses in the preparation of her concoctions like meat, rice, condiments, leaves, eggs, fish and others.
