A loan of $225 helped to buy chicks, piglets, feeds and stones.

Che's story

Che, a married father of six, lives with his family in a four-bedroom apartment house in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon. Among the challenges he has faced are inadequate finance for his business and the deaths of his father, two of his children in childbirth, his mother and kid sister.

With the loan requested, Che will buy piglets, chicks and feed for the expansion of his poultry farm, as well as stones for resale which will be used by the community for the building of houses. He is positive this business will succeed because he is determined and will put in all the effort needed. Che has regular customers who will buy his piglets and chicks, and the demand for stones is very high. The community will benefit from the droppings which will serve as manure, and the chicks and piglets will be used in the community for ceremonial activities.

With the profit from the loan, Che will educate his children and the children of his late kid sister and expand his business. He prefers GHAPE loans because of low interest rates and convenient repayment intervals.
