A loan of $1,700 helped to buy cement and bricks to repair the stable so her dairy cows can be in good health and therefore have better milk production.

Petrona's story

Petrona raises dairy cattle to produce milk. She sells it in one of the milk industrialized plants. She lives with one of her children, who has his own family, in her house located in the community of Nina Chiri, in the Laja sector of the province of Los Andes, department of La Paz. It's an hour from the city of La Paz. She has some heads of pure bred cattle. They need better care, given the weather conditions in the area.

She needs the loan to buy construction materials such as cement, bricks, etc. This way, she can repair the cattle stable and thus improve her production, keeping them in good health.

Petrona's dream is to increase her heads of cattle, caring for their good health.

This is the fourth time she has asked for a loan from IMPRO and the second time with KIVA.
