A loan of $1,600 helped purchase feed for her dairy cow.

Santusa's story

Santusa works raising cattle for milk production, which she then sells in her community. She also works in agriculture and floriculture as in this region the weather is benign and perfect for such activity. Her house is located in the Rio Abajo community, in the Mecapaca Sector of the province of Murilla, in the Department of La Paz. This is about an hour and a half from the city of La Paz. She currently owns a few head of cattle and crops of vegetables and flowers.

She needs this loan in order to purchase feed for her cattle and thereby improve her milk production. Santusa's goal is to increase the number of cattle she owns, thereby safeguarding the strength of her herd. This is her third loan through IMPRO, and her second loan through Kiva.
