A loan of $275 helped to purchase an increased amount of watermelon, which will aid in improving her overall sales.

Efua's story

Due to difficult circumstances, Efua did not have access to any form of formal education, yet this has not stopped her from achieving her dream of becoming an entrepreneur. Currently, Efua sells watermelon in Domenase (near Cape Coast). She has been doing so for about three years.

As a single mother with 3 children, Efua uses all her income to feed and provide for her family. Efua will use the loan to purchase an increased amount of watermelon, which will aid in improving her overall sales. Efua wants to use the future profits from her expanded business to ensure that all her children are able to receive an education.
