Miriam's story

Miriam was born in 1980, at Kashenyi Village. Her parents were peasants. She studied up to secondary school level and then joined an institution, for a nursing course. She is married and has two children, who attend school. She started her business in 2007, with her meager savings. She has since decided to join UGAFODE Microfinance Limited (MDI) for financial assistance, to enable her to expand her business and get more customers.

Miriam took this loan in order to buy more drugs, to serve the available market.
