A loan of $3,650 helped a member to buy honey.

Esperanza Para El Futuro Group's story

The community bank Hope for the Future is an enthusiastic and responsible group comprised of 8 members who are in their 6th loan cycle. Isabel is the president of the group and she carries out this role with responsibility. She works selling honey, olive oil, olives, and other products. She began with the idea of having a business so that she could contribute to paying the household expenses. Her greatest wish is to have a vegetarian restaurant which she would run with her daughter. The loan she is requesting will be used to buy honey. Isabel is 54 years old and is married with one daughter who she still supports. The group Hope for the Future is grateful for the loan offered to them. Isabel is the 4th from the right, wearing a white blouse with green stripes and black pants. In the top part on the left is Kristian. Rosalina couldn't be there for the photo because of work.
