Although she has received no prior formal education, Gloria is an entrepreneur. She specializes in selling cloth in Asebu Ekrokul (near Cape Coast). She has been involved in this enterprise for 7 years. Gloria is married and has 2 children. Her husband works as a taxi driver. The proceeds from her business normally go toward helping her husband cover the family’s general expenses and paying their children’s school fees.
Gloria wants to use her loan to increase her current inventory levels, hence allowing her to sell greater quantities of cloth. In the long term, Gloria plans to reinvest future profits into her business, thus helping her to expand and meet rising customer demand.
