Ms Shamim, a 45-year-old married woman, has been selling bangles for about 10 years. Bangles are considered traditional accessories in a country such as Pakistan, where women use them for a traditional look on special occasions like Eid and weddings. Shamim sells beautiful bangles with various designs, especially those intended for bridal parties.

Shamim initiated her business with the support of Kashf Foundation. Taking a loan from Kashf helped her account for expenses she thought she could never bear. She is striving hard to meet her family expenditures, responsible as she is for providing good food, clothing, and education for her children.

Shamim is requesting her fourth loan of Rs. 40,000 to purchase stocks of colorful bangles in various designs and sizes. This will help in attracting more customers, and she hopes to have a good experience with this new loan as she dreams of expanding her business in the near future.
