Fatmata's story

Fatmata is 27 years old and married with two children, ages 1 and 6 years old. Her husband is an old man retired from his job; she always takes care of the home by herself. She runs a provision store in Torkpoi town, Bo, Southern Area in Sierra Leone.

She's been in this business for seven years and sells milk, butter, sugar and bread. She says that her business is run well because, out of the profit, she is able to take care of the home.

Fatmata requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase palm oil and provision items to expand her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her increase her business and educate her children. In the future, she would like to educate her children. She is grateful for your support.
