A loan of $1,350 helped to buy chickens.

Consuelo's story

Consuelo is 31 years old and the mother of an eight year old girl whom she raises at her mother’s house. She works hard because she wants to provide a better quality of life to her young daughter and consolidate her finances.

Consuelo sells chicken. She has a stall at one of the most popular markets and fortunately has good considerable sales and earnings because her work place is well located on a visible corner on the street. This work demands lots of sacrifice and so she has to get up very early in the morning to get to the chicken supply centers so she can beat the others who also sell chicken, in order to buy the best and freshest products that she offers to her customers.

She knows that all of her effort is worth it and is rewarded when she sees that her young daughter has everything she needs to be comfortable. She has been in this business for four years and works alone. She says that she wants to do things right and generate financial resources for her family who are her main motivation. She is asking for 3,500 PEN and is grateful to those who make this loan possible so she can grow her business. She is committed to making her payments on time and will use the money to buy chickens of good size and weight.
