A loan of $900 helped a member to buy used clothing.

Ayidokpo Group's story

The Ayidokpo group is composed of three members living in the same neighborhood. The group’s representative, Julienne Assiba, is the one raising her hand in the photo. Her husband’s name is Raphael. They have four dependent children, all in school. Julienne Assiba lives together with her husband and children. She did not attend school. For almost 15 years, Julienne Assiba has been selling used clothing and mobile recharge cards. This business allows her to help provide for her family without major hardships. Julienne Assiba stocks up at a market in Benin. With the goal of meeting customer demand and growing her sales volume and her revenues, Julienne Assiba, together with the other members of the Ayidokpo group, is seeking a third loan from ALIDé. Their prior loans have been duly repaid.
