A loan of $275 helped to purchase more clothing and sheets.

Abena's story

Due to difficult circumstances, Abena did not have access to any form of formal education, yet this has not stopped her from achieving her dream of becoming an entrepreneur. For about four years now, Abena has been selling secondhand clothing and sheets in Ohiaba (near Cape Coast). As a divorced mother of five, she uses all of her income to feed and provide for her family.

Abena will use this loan to purchase more clothing and sheets, which will aid her in improving her overall sales. She wants to use future profits to ensure that all her children are able to receive an education.
