Florence is 36 years old, widowed, and has four children. She has also been taking care of two orphans for one year. She knits and has a small boutique where sells the sweaters. She sells some of her sweaters to a local school. She also has a small room that she rents out to get additional income.

Florence is requesting a loan, which she will use to purchase knitting wool. Her major challenge is the lack of electrical sewing and knitting machines, which would enable her make more sweaters faster and neater .She hopes to buy these machines in the future if more funding is made available. Her dream is to open up a knitting school in the future.
