Wito Group's story

Deogratias, who is in his mid 40s, is a married man with four children, three of whom are in school, and the remaining one is still small. For a period of three years now, Deogratias has been operating a grocery business, often offering different drinks, both alcoholic and soft drinks. He is doing fine in this field and his family is also. He works from 3:00pm to 11:00pm daily and is able to make a good profit per month.

This will be his third loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. With the previous loans, he increased his business inventory, and he has paid back all his loans successfully. With the interest earned, he bought another plot of land and covered home expenses and school fees. He will use this loan to restock more drinks and pay for toilet repair at his business. He dreams of having a nice guesthouse for business expansion.

He will share this loan with his loan group "WITO" which totals 10 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
