A loan of $4,075 helped a member to buy 50 sacks of whitewash and five sacks of cement.

Muyisa Group's story

The customer, Bernadette, is vice-president of the Muyisa loan collective. She is a dynamic entrepreneur, who is 47 years old and mother to six children, who are all studying. Her husband is a civil engineer. The customer sells construction materials and is specialised in the hardware business. She sets out her products in a shop. She began her business with her own capital which she was given by her husband. She has been doing this small trading business for two years now. This new loan will be used to buy 50 sacks of whitewash and five sacks of cement to sell. In the future, she would like to build up her capital and pay for her children's education. She is therefore extremely grateful to IMF Hékima for its offer of microloans for small entrepreneurs.
