A loan of $775 helped to buy firewood.

Alberta's story

Alberta is 57 years old and is a very hardworking woman. She has six children and lives with one of her daughters in a rustic home that she inherited from her mother. Alberta used to farm, but now that she is elderly, she sells firewood. This business has been going well for her and she doesn’t have to put forth very much effort, even though delivering the firewood is complicated. Her children and grandchildren help her with this process so she is more relaxed about it.

By the same manner, she is grateful to her customers who come every morning to buy her firewood, which motivates her to continue working so she can continue to support her children and grandchildren with some of her expenses. This will be her fifth loan and she is grateful for the financial support and she is committed to making her payments on time. Alberta will use the 2,000 PEN to buy firewood.
