Jayme Paul's story

Jayme, 41, is single living in the city of Pisco; he’s a very kind, hardworking, enthusiastic person with a strong wish for self-improvement. Unfortunately, due to the lack of economic resources and the need to start working at a very young age, Jayme was unable to study Law like he’d wanted to. In his free time he enjoys continuing to work and on some occasions cooks a delicious ‘Carapulcra con Sopa Seca’ to share with his family. On his own initiative and with much effort and dedication, Jayme works in his small business selling plastics, plastic sandals and items for the home. He works every day in his small sales stand for about 10 hours and believes he does well because of his good prices and the kind customer service he provides. Jayme is grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the support provided he will be able to buy merchandise like brooms, plastic bags, waste baskets, buckets, sandals, and others in greater amounts and wider variety. In this way, Jayme will have his business better stocked and will be able to take care of more customers. Thus, he will continue working and striving toward reaching his great dream: to finish building his house.
