Milagros Del Rocio's story

Milagros is a 19-year-old young woman. She's single and lives with her parents and siblings in the town of Chiclayo, district of Guadalupe. She's a very kind, hard-working and enthusiastic person with a great deal of drive to succeed. Unfortunately, due to a lack of financial resources and out of the need to work from a very young age, Milagros wasn't able to study for a professional career in business administration as she wished. In her free time she enjoys cooking a delicious duck ceviche for sharing with her family.
On her own initiative and with a lot of effort and dedication, Milagros works as a counter salesperson in a hardware store of her town. In addition, on weekends she works in her small store located in her home, where she makes and sells a variety of desserts and sweets. She works everyday for about 10 hours and believes that she does well because of her good work and her friendliness towards others.
Milagros is very thankful to Kiva lenders, since thanks to their help she'll be able to purchase snacks, groceries and beverages, which will be very useful for her to stock up her store and serve more customers. That way Milagros will continue working and making an effort in order to achieve her biggest dream of owning a house of her own.
