Rachael is married to Said and they have three children, all of whom attend school. Rachael owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past three years, Rachael has operated a business selling coconuts at retail to local neighbors. The major business challenge she faces is the high cost of transportation. Rachael dreams of expanding her existing business to a wholesale shop in the future.
With the KES 10,000, Rachael wants to purchase sacks of coconuts for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
