Anwar's story

Ms Anwar is a vigorous 46-year-old lady. She has been doing embroidery work with her son for many years. She is doing this work for the people of her community and uses the income to support her entire family.

However, due to lack of availability of funds, she is unable to meet the daily demands of her customers. For this reason she requested a loan of 35,000 Pakistan Rupees (PKR) from Kashf Foundation again. She intends to use this loan amount to buy more spools of thread in different colors, along with packs of beads, sequins, and stones for embellishment to create a means of increasing revenues so she may able to generate healthier source of income.

Anwar is in her second loan cycle and is thankful to Kashf for its tremendous support. She has a dream to provide all necessary needs for her children.
