A loan of $750 helped to buy three calves.

Artur's story

Artur was born and still lives in the village of Tsav that is in the Syunik district. Artur is married and lives with his wife, newborn son, and parents.

Artur from a young age has been involved in agriculture and has his own plot of land in Tsav where he grows vegetables. He also has four heads of cattle, 20 chickens, pigs and sheep.

Artur's parents help their son on the farm. Artur sells milk and meat from the livestock in the cities of Kapan and Kajaran, and Artur's father sells vegetables and fruits from the garden in the market. Artur loves his work despite the severity and peculiarities of agriculture.

As Artur admitted, he is very happy that despite the difficult economic situation in Syunik district, he and his parents with their hard-earned dignity can support their large family.

Artur is asking for a Kiva loan of 300,000 Armenian drams to buy three calves and a year later hopes to get a good profit.
