Carlos is 47. He is very friendly and hard-working, and lives with his wife and their five children. He works very hard on his own parcel of land, where he grows corn and sorghum. This is very good for him because it benefits him that his customers can come to the location readily.

Carlos is requesting a loan so that he can have the money he needs to purchase agricultural supplies such as pest control chemicals and fertilizers, in addition to seeds, manures and so that he can improve the land shown in the photo, which is where he farms. Carlos is anxious to increase his sales so that he can earn more income and this way give his family better financial stability.
