Tubumuco Group's story

Saidi is a part of the Tubumuco group and lives in Ngozi. He is 52 years old and is married to Amida, a shopkeeper. Together they have eight children, aged from 7 to 27 years old; all go to school.

Saidi has been a selling rice, soap, salt, sugar, etc. for three years in a shop. He is on his second loan with Turame. With this Kiva loan, he is going to increase his capital and buy a lot of soap and a large quantity of salt and sugar [that he will] resell and earn more.

In the years to come, he would like to buy a vehicle and see his children [continue to] go to school.
