Samina's story

Ms. Samina is a 46-year-old woman. She lives in Lahore, Pakistan with her family. She is a mother of four children. Her husband owns a general store in the market near his house. This store is the only source of income for his family. Presently her husband wants to purchase a variety of products for the store that include wheat, sugar, flour, rice, beans, etc. to sell. However, due to lack of money he finds it difficult.

For that reason, his wife Samina has requested a loan from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan to help her husband to purchase the needed goods. She is hopeful that the loan will be a productive one for her husband's shop. She is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan.
