A loan of $375 helped to pay for raw ingredients like rice, pork, chicken and vegetables needed in her business.

Mariam's story

This is Mariam. Her previous loan was a big help in her business. She was able to buy the needed ingredients for her food stall. She therefore generated more income that helped with her household's everyday expenses. She and her husband, who is a mason, are working hard to provide income for their everyday needs.

She would like to apply for a new15,000 PHP (Philippines pesos) loan to purchase raw ingredients and supplies needed in her business. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain her family's daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Mariam hopes to sustain her business and dreams to have a better living. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her life and business every week and also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
