A loan of $475 helped to buy merchandise.

Rosa's story

Rosa is 36 years old, married to Ronald, has four children, and lives in a home of her own. Rosa sells toys, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and accessories, mostly for girls. She has been doing this for nearly three years and she has worked alone since she began. She says that she had many difficulties when she began, among them were attracting customers to her, however now she feels that she has better developed this and her daily sales have improved. She likes her work because her schedule is flexible and allows her to do other things as well. She hopes that she will be able to open a store in the future, but for now she wants to grow her business by buying more merchandise. She is asking for a loan of 1,200 PEN. She is very happy to know that she has financial backing and can continue ahead with her goals. She promises to be on time with her payments. She will use the money from this loan to buy toys, necklaces, and other accessories to sell.
