A loan of $1,300 helped to purchase fertilizer, manure, and other supplies for the coffee harvest.

Martha Lidia's story

Martha is a 29-year-old woman, enterprising, hard working, and with a lot of desire to get ahead. She is married and with the help of her husband and her family she works in the cultivation and product of coffee. Her family has practiced this activity for generations. Her land is very appropriate for the crops because they are located in a fertile area and free of contamination. She has achieved and completed her projects due to her perseverance and hard work. She works hard to such a degree that her husband, children, friends, and neighbors admire her. She is also working to educate her son who is in primary school.

Currently she is requesting a loan to purchase fertilizer, manure, and other supplies that will avoid her crops being damaged by diseases. She wants to gain 100% of the crops without damage so she can sell them.

Her goal is to increase her land to be able to seed and harvest coffee. Her dream is to give her son a better education, a better standard of life, and be able to inherit what his parents earned with a lot of hard work from generation to generation.
