A loan of $300 helped to purchase fruit crops.

Ana Maria's story

Ana Maria lives in the town of Masaya together with her husband and children. She has been a merchant for more than ten years. Her biggest dream is to improve her family's quality of life. Her husband helps with the household expenses since he self-employed. Ana Maria sells fruits and vegetables in the town market. She purchases fruit harvests that are still on the tree and later sells them. She will use this loan to purchase various fruits such as avocados, tamarinds, and lemons. She is grateful for the support that Afodenic and Kiva loans have provided.
