Usman's story

Since 2008, Mr.Usman has been running a chicken shop in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. He is a 25-year-old hardworking young man. He belongs to a poor family and this shop is the only source of income for his family. He has requested a loan amount of 120,000 PKR from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan to purchase chickens from the poultry farm to resell them in the market at profitable price.

With the help of the profits he wants to put aside some money for his marriage. He hopes that within three or four years he will be able to save a sufficient amount of money to meet the expenses of his marriage. He dreams of the success of his business.
