A loan of $475 helped to buy sodas.

Jessenia's story

Jessenia, 34, lives with her husband in the home they own. Jessenia's job is selling sodas of different flavors and brands. She has a refrigerator. She also makes frozen treats with fruits from the region like camu-camu, aguaje (moriche palm), and coconut. She works from inside her home. She started her business because she saw that it was going well for her neighbors who sold these products. She has been doing it for 3 years and considers it profitable due to the high consumption of sodas and because of her natural fruit popsicles. At the beginning it was important to have a place to store her products, but she didn't have a refrigerator. She saved some money and got her precious appliance where she stores and makes her ice creams.

She hopes later to consolidate her work and begin to produce in greater quantity and stock a greater variety of sodas. That is what she will use her 6th Kiva loan for and she is very grateful for the support.

With the requested 1200 soles she will buy different brands of sodas.
