A loan of $850 helped a member to buy sweets, sugar-coated snacks, chewing gum, bonbons, soft drinks, etc. for her business.

G.s El Pantanal #3 Group's story

Cristina is a very enterprising person and lives with her three children in the community of Choluteca in southern Honduras. She has been selling chewing gum for over nine years. She needs a loan to buy sweets, sugar-coated snacks, chewing gum, bonbons, soft drinks, etc. With the loan, and by purchasing more merchandise to offer her customers, she hopes to increase her sales.

Cristina hopes to improve her and her family's economic situation through this investment. In a few years she hopes to have her business situated on the largest city square and be well-known in the area.

Just like the other members in the group, Cristina hopes to stay healthy and continue working through Prisma to support her children so they can become good citizens.

María de los Ángeles sells sweets and chewing gum and has been in business for seven years. Mritza has been in the food business for ten years. Emerita has been in the garden business for five years.
