A loan of $3,700 helped a member to buy party favors.

Flores De Ventilla Group's story

The FLORES DE VENTILLA communal bank will begin its second cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Senkata center. It’s made up of eight ladies and directed by a board of directors where Sara serves as president. The members have different businesses, such as kitting, Amerincan clothing sales, sewing, and blouse making.

This loan will benefit their small businesses, including Sara’s, who has been with Pro Mujer for two cycles, having joined on her own initiative. She has a party favor and decoration business and learned this business at an institution. She later decided to set up her own establishment.

She will use this loan to buy party favors from vendors in La Paz and later sell them in her space. This work allows her to generate income to support her household; she lives with her husband and three children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the healthcare training and loans.
