Nazura's story

Nazura is 41 years old and has four children. She works in a school, and also farms to provide an additional source of income for her family. She began her work raising animals and growing crops 8 years ago with 12,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her tireless work, Nazura now has two cows and their offspring, a horse, and a monthly income of 10,000 som from selling milk products. In order to further develop her business, Nazura came to the microfinance group Bai-Tushum and Partners for a 85,000 som (KGS) loan to buy a milk cow and small livestock. She plans to invest the revenue from use of the loan into the further expansion of her business. She also wants to save for her children's education.
