Usenbai's story

Usenbai is 47 years old and has five children. As a source of income for his family, Usenbai works with livestock breeding and field crop cultivation, after having started this business with 15,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Usenbai's persistent work, his farm currently has two cows, 20 sheep and 2 hectares of rented land planted with peppers and perennial grasses. Further, Usenbai provides shepherd services.

With an aim to further develop his business, Usenbai turned to the micro finance bank "Bai Tushum & Partners" for a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of one horse, sheep, goats and nitrates. Usenbai plans to invest the income from the loan in further expanding his business, and intents to pay for the education of his eldest son, who has finished school.
