A loan of $300 helped to purchase more body cream, perfume and hair grease for her business.

Musu's story

Musu is 32 years old and lives in Kakata, the capital city of Margibi County, which has the highest production of rubber plantations in Liberia. Musu is married with two children, ages 10 and 13; they live at home and are in school. Musu was unable to attend school, and for four years now she has been selling body cream, perfume and hair grease around her community and market. She started this business with small goods from her friend as sell-pay (to have the goods on credit, sells them and returns the principle) and she learned this trade from her friends. She is requesting a loan to purchase more body cream, perfume and hair grease for her business. She hopes to expand her business.
