A loan of $375 helped to purchase stock for a car-accessories shop.

Shaheen's story

Shaheen is a 43-year-old hardworking and diligent women. She is living in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, with her husband and three sons. Her husband and all of her sons are running a car decoration and accessories shop. This is the only source of income for her family. Currently, they are facing many problems in business as the current stock of car accessories is almost finished, and they have no funds available to purchase more stock.

Shaheen has requested a loan from Kiva’s partner BRAC Pakistan so that her husband can continue his business and purchase a new variety of car accessories and decoration kits like car chargers, fog lights, seat covers, neon lights, MP3 and DVD players, etc. With the profit amount, she is going to make arrangements for the marriage of her son and for the expansion of their business.

She is very hopeful that the loan will be a productive one for them, and she is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan for their help.
