Surat Group's story

Surat is a 40-year-old woman living in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, with her spouse and five daughters. Since 2004, her husband has been running a small vegetable shop and usually sells his vegetables in the central market. He always sells fresh vegetables and his clients are satisfied with his rates.

Surat has requested a loan from Kiva's partner, BRAC Pakistan, for the expansion of her husband's shop. With the loan investment, her husband can buy a variety of fresh vegetables that will allow him to offer more varieties to his clients and increase his sales and income. Her husband is a very hardworking and honest man and is confident about his family’s bright future.
