Marites's story

This is Marites. For the past three years, she has run a motorcycle transport business. She received a previous loan that was a big help in her business and allowed her to buy spare parts and accessories for her tricycle. Marites also used her loan to help educate her children and provide for her family’s household expenditures. She and her husband work hard to provide income for their family’s everyday needs.

Marites is requesting a 10,000 PHP loan to buy spare parts and maintain her tricycle. The profits from her loan will definitely help her to sustain family’s daily needs provide for her children's education. Marites looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart. In the future, she dreams of having more tricycles and hopes that her children will finish their studies. Marites meets up weekly with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business and draw strength and inspiration from studying the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners who gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
