Cherrie My is 52 years old and married with two children. She lives in Calamba, Misamis Occidental. She owns and operates an agriculture business to earn a living. She has been in her business for over seven years and earns 4,000 PHP every month.
She has been a member of GDMPC since the year 2011, and now she has requested a loan of 8,000 PHP to purchase fertilizer, such as manure.
In the future, Cherry My wants to make improvements to her house and improve the general living conditions of her family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
