A loan of $450 helped to buy men's and women's clothing, handicrafts, and cosmetics.

Yessenia Josefina's story

Yessenia, 33, is a modest merchant who lives in the city of Granada and is the mother of three children. She sells clothing, a business she started 10 years ago on traveling to Panama to buy clothes to sell in Granada. She sold for credit and cash as a street vendor every day until she managed to rent a stall where she now offers her clothing. She sometimes sells chicken as well to earn more money. She will use this loan to buy men's and women's clothing, handicrafts, and cosmetics. She wants to offer her customers more variety and diversify her business. She wants to see the business become stronger each day and generate a good income.
